1/18/2013 10:36 AM

NINEWA/ Aswat al-Iraq: A number of Namroud area citizens stated that a joint force arrested today a mosque sheikh and led him to unknown destination.

The people added to Aswat al-Iraq that Sheikh Younis Taha al-Jbouri was supposed to put the speech of Friday's prayers speech in solidarity with the demonstrations and sit-ins in some Iraqi cities, under the slogan "No Cheating".

Since 22 December 2012, Anbar province witnessed massive demonstrations and sit-in, in addition to Ninewa, Salahal-Din, Diala, Kirkuk and Baghdad demanding the release of innocent detainees and prisoners, while others called for toppling Maliki's government.
