BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Premier Nouri al-Maliki today called to utilize Iraq's strategic position in the fields of international communication.

 

 

A statement received by Aswat al-Iraq, reported that Maliki received the Acting Communication Minister along with his senior officials today.

 

 

During the meeting, he stressed the Ministry's importance with regards to services and called on the parliament to expedite endorsing the ministry's law.

 

 

Investment issues were also tackled in the meeting, particularly in fields not connected with the country's information security.

 

 

Maliki confirmed necessity to minimize communication costs to be available to all citizens.
