Demonstrators attack Zagros TV station in Arbil

ARBIL/ Aswat al-Iraq: A number of demonstrators against Jarba newspaper, which published anti-Islam opinions, attacked today the premises of Zagros TV station that belongs to the Kurdish Democratic Party and tried to burn it.
 
The security forces intervened to extinguish the fire and arrested some demonstrators, as the sources said.
 
The demonstrators moved today from the Kurdish parliament to Sawaf Mosque in mid of Arbil city, after handing their demands to the officials in the region, including the resignation of culture minister Kawa Mahmoud.
 
The demonstrators tried to storm-in the parliament, which led in wounding two cops.
 
The stoned security vehicles, which resulted in material damages.
 
Security sources said that the editor-in-chief of Jarba newspaper was arrested.
 
The newspaper published an article which was accused of anti-Islamic orientations.
