BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: An Iraqi traffic police officer has been injured and his daughter was killed in an armed attack
by unknown gunmen south of Baghdad on Friday night, a police source reported on Saturday.
"A group of unknown gunmen have opened fire from guns, fixed with silencers, against Traffic Police Colonel, Mohammed Hani,
who was driving his car with his family in southern Baghdad's Daura district, wounding him and killing his daughter, whilst the armed
men escaped to an unknown desination," the police source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
