BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Transport Minister Hadi al-Ameri expressed readiness to initiate direct flights with Kuwait.

 

During his meeting with Kuwaiti media delegation, he stressed Iraq's intention to develop bilateral relations with Kuwait in all economic fields, as well as solving pending questions between the two sides, particularly the Iraqi Airways case.

 

The two sides agreed for finalizing the Iraqi Airways case that Iraq will pay compensations and the Kuwaiti side will cancel all suits against the Iraqi Airways and properties.
