BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Parliament Speaker Usama Nujaifi demanded today the US judicial system to review the verdict imposed against the soldier who committed the Haditha massacre, pointing that it does not match the crime committed.

 

In a statement issued by his office, he denounced any bloodshed of Iraqis, but "our duty is to claim any right for the martyrs who fell for any reason".

 

The Haditha massacre led to the killing of 24 Iraqis in cold blood.
