KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: Police sources announced today that the final toll from the 4-car explosions reached 9 dead and 30 wounded, in addition to material losses at the site of the explosions.
The source told Aswat al-Iraq that the first explosion was in Haweeja area and resulted in the deaths of 4 and 6 more wounded.
The second explosion took place near Turkmen Front's premises, south of the city, which resulted in wounding 7 persons, the source added.
The third explosion was near a Kurdish Democratic Party premises, west of the city, which led to wounding two persons, but after the gathering of the people, another bomb exploded that resulted in killing 5 and wounding 12 more.
The fourth car explosion took place west of the city targeting a police officer's vehicle in Dibis area, which led to wounding him and other two civilians who were near the explosion site.
Kirkuk, center of the province, lies 280 km north east of the capital, Baghdad.
It is one of the disputed areas between Baghdad and Arbil, which witnesses continued terrorist actions against police forces and civilians alike.
