NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: A woman and her daughter were wounded in a bomb explosion in west of Mosul, a police source said on Thursday.
"The bomb exploded in Rajam Hadid region, western Mosul, injuring a passing woman and her daughter," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
He gave no more details.
Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
