SALAH AL-DIN / Aswat al-Iraq: Three army soldiers were killed and two others were wounded in a bomb blast in east of Tikrit, a security source said on Monday.
"An improvised explosive device went off in al-Bousaliebi region in al-Dalouiya district, east of Tikrit, targeting an army vehicle patrol, killing three soldiers and wounding two," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
Tikrit, the capital of Salah al-Din, lies 175 km north of Baghdad.
