ARBIL/ Aswat al-Iraq: Kurdish Peshmerga ministry sources denied here today the reports on Turkish military intervention into Iraqi Kurdish territories to chase anti-Turkish PKK members.
Secretary General of the ministry Jabbar Yawar, in a press statement, he denied "any" intervention during Monday and Tuesday last.
Turkish media sources reported the news that two Turkish military units intruded for five kilometers inside Iraqi Kurdistan for two days.
Turkish "Ikhlas" news agency reported that the units were searching for PKK elements and returned back to Turkey after completing their mission.
