BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: The General Secretariat of the Iraqi Cabinet denied any statement or directive preventing demonstrations.
The announcement, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, added that "demonstration is a constitutional right".
It urged governmental institutions to abide by the laws and directives and continue their official duties.
Iraq is witnessing "one of the most dangerous crises" in its history after 2003, through massive protests that extended to Anbar, Salahal-Din, Ninewa, Kirkuk, Diala and Baghdad, as well as other areas in the country.
The protestors demanded the release of male and female prisoners and detainees and cancellation of terrorism and de-Baathification laws and to rectify the political process in the country.
