NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: An Iraqi gunman was killed and another one was arrested in clashes on Syrian borders, a security source said on Monday.

 

"Border guards killed an Iraqi gunman and arrested a Saudi nationality in clashes on Iraqi-Syrian borders near Rabiaa district, northwest of Mosul," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
