Sadrist Trend criticizes governmental decision on food ration
BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Sadrist Trend, headed by Muqtada al-Sadr, described governmental action on food ration as "contradictory", at a time refusing to give the oil surplus funds to the people, but decides to cancel the food ration card.
Spokesman Salah al-Obaidi, in a statement today, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, reminded of Sadrist suggestion to pay 25% of oil surplus funds to the people, but this idea was opposed for fearing of increasing inflation in the country.
"It was supposed to better the food ration card, in number and quantity", he confirmed, but referred to the Russian arms deal in reference to the corruption in the state.
