NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Security forces in Ninewa province today announced the death of a cop who was shot with pistols equipped with silencers west of Mosul city.

 

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that the cop was killed in a shopping store, who was on duty within a federal police checkpoint.

 

"He was shot while trying to buy something from the store," the source added.

 

Mosul city, center of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of the capital, Baghdad.
