BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi parliament failed on Thursday to approve the 2013 federal budget, a parliament’s source said, noting that lawmakers would do that next week.
“Parliamentary blocs would continue their discussions to settle their points of difference earlier next week,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The same source had said earlier that the Iraqi parliament will discuss on Thursday the general budget draft law as well as the first and second reading of other bills.
