1,000 protestors in Diala to support Bahraini people

DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: More than one thousand protestors went to streets in Diala o Friday to show support to the Bahraini people.
“The demonstration started from Barshta region in Muqdadiya, northeast of Baaquba, and raised banners supporting the Bahraini people and demanding the UN and the Arab League to intervene to stop violations against Bahrainis,” a government’s source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“A number of public figures and clerics took part in the demonstration,” he added.
