ARBIL / Aswat al-Iraq: Kurdish region governmental spokesman announced today that Kurdish President Masoud Barzani will accept the invitation of Sadrist leader Muqtada al-Sadr to end the current tension between the central and Kurdish governments.
According to governmental site, the spokesman Omeed Sabah denied any personal problem with Premier Nouri al-Maliki.
"The problem is the rule in Iraq, where there is no abidance by the constitution and other agreements", the spokesman added.
Sadrist leader invited both Barzani and Maliki to meet in Najaf city to end the current tension.
The tension between Baghdad and Arbil started when Dijla Operations Command moved its forces to Kirkuk, where the Kurds regarded it as an attack against them.
