BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: A police officer survived an attempt on his life when gunmen attacked his car in eastern Baghdad on Wednesday, according to a security source.

 

 

"Unknown armed men showered a car of a police lieutenant with bullets on the highway in eastern Baghdad, injuring the driver slightly," the

source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
