Baghdad demonstration denouncing neighboring countries' intervention ends
9/16/2011 4:12 PM

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: NGO's demonstration in Tahrir Square ended today denouncing the intervention of neighboring countries, including Iran and Kuwait, in Iraqi internal affairs.

Aswat al-Iraq's correspondent reported that tens of citizens and civil activist demonstrated today denouncing Iranian and Kuwaiti violations against Iraqi sovereignty and the Iranian shelling of Kurdistan borders and targeting civilians in the region.

They accused Kuwaiti policies of "endangering Iraqi interests, despite all injustice incurred by the UN Security Council's resolutions."

The demonstrators referred to Mobarak Terminal, which is, according to Iraqis, will strangle its economies and ports.

Kuwait announced on 6 April last the initiation of building Mobarak terminal, after one year of Iraqi declaration of building its Great Fao port.
