First Independent political forces' conference to be held, statement

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Preparatory Committee for Independent Forces announced holding it is first conference to cover all independent forces wishing to participate in the political process away from partisan, ideological, religious, national and liberal inclinations.

In a statement, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, the committee pointed out that the attempt is to encourage the youths to enter the political arena, instead of resorting to internet blogs and Face book sites.

No other details were given.
