Joint Action Agreement signed with Tunisia

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq and Tunisia signed a Joint Action Agreement, culture ministry spokesman announced today.

The spokesman said that the agreement was the result of the meetings held between Iraqi culture minister Saadoun al-Dulaimi with Tunisian high ranking officials.

The agreement took many aspects, including the organization of Tunisian cultural week in Iraq in 2013 and Iraqi participation in Carthage Theatrical Festival.

In addition, it was agreed to benefit from Tunisian tourism expertise and opening an Iraqi cultural center in the future, as well as other youth and sports activities to be implemented during the coming three years.
