NINEWA/ Aswat al-Iraq: Media sources at the Kurdish National Union Party in Mosul said that its responsible here escaped an assassination attempt by a bomb blast against his convoy east of the city.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that "no human casualties were reported, except material losses in the vehicles of the convoy".
