BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi ambassador to Jordan Jawad Hadi Abbas announced today that Iraqi-Jordanian borders will be re-opened within the coming 48 hours.
As stated by UPI, the borders will be opened either today or tomorrow, but no details were given.
Iraqi authorities closed the border vent with Jordan due "to the disturbances along the highway because of the demonstrations taking place there".
Anbar province is witnessing demonstrations for the last 27 days, calling for the release of innocent prisoners, cancelling terrorism and Questioning and Justice (De-Baathification) laws.
