BASRA/ Aswat al-Iraq: Officials said here today that the province will open a border vent to develop trade relations with Saudi Arabia.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that the vent will be proposed in Oja al-Batin, North West the province.

It is expected the vent will be opened next year.

Basra is the most important Iraqi economic center, where main ports are situated, as well as main oil fields.
