2 Qaeda members arrested in Wassit

WASSIT/ Aswat al-Iraq: Wassit police arrested two Qaeda members and seized quantities of ammunition, as reported by Police Commander here today.

General Hussein Abdul Hadi told Aswat al-Iraq that raids were made in Suwaira area, 135 km north of Kut province, that led arresting the two terrorists, who were involved in kidnapping and killing civilians, as they confessed.

On the other hand, he added that ammunitions were seized, 30 km south of Kut, including 29 rockets, parts of grenades, 3 Katyousha rockets and Kalashnikov bullets.
