BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Two people were killed and five were injured in a bomb and a car bomb explosion in southern Baghdad on Thursday, a police source said.

 

“An explosive charge and a booby-trapped car exploded in al-Mahmoudiya region, southern Baghdad, killing two and wounding five,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

Police started an investigation into the incident, he added, without giving further details.
