Peshmerga sends “peace plan” to Baghdad

ARBIL / Aswat al-Iraq: The Kurdistan’s Peshmerga ministry sent a peace plan to Baghdad through the security cooperation office of the US army in Iraq, according to the media office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.
 
“Peshmerga Minister Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustapha received General Martin Deputy Chief of the US Security Cooperation Office of the US army in Iraq and his accompanying delegation.
 
“Minister of Peshmerga in Kurdistan Regional Government said that the Peshmerga forces deployment is for defensive purposes, stressing that the Kurds want to live in a democratic Iraq without problems,” PUK media reported.
 
 
“The meeting attendants discussed recent dialogue and discussions between the Peshmerga Ministry and the Iraqi Defense Ministry especially the Peshmerga Ministry’s plan to resolve current crisis in the Separated Areas.”
